Greetings everyone!!
It is already year three for Manitoba and the Canadian High School
Rodeo Finals. Our Committee has gone through some changes during this past
year and we are excited to again be bringing you the top notch rodeo you
have come to expect.

Spring packages were sent out to your provincial secretary
last week containing all the information as well as the forms, etc that you
will be requiring to enter into the Finals. This
information is also posted on this website, but if there is anything else
don’t hesitate to contact your Canadians Secretary, Wendy at rocking@live.ca. The agenda is up to date, but is subject to possible change
as we get closer to the date of the Finals. Please keep an eye on it so you
don’t miss anything.
REMEMBER, it’s the TOP 5 in each province for both High School and the Jr.
Division. You won’t want to miss it.

Your
provincial secretary will be distributing the required forms to the lucky contestants, but they are
also available on this website. The top 5 competitors from each province in
each event will be allowed to enter. Check with your provincial secretary
to see if you are in the top 5.
If you have never been to
Virden and would like information on where the Virden Outdoor Arena is
located, we will have signs posted leading from the Trans Canada highway to
the rodeo grounds. Someone will be there to check you and your horses in. Registration
will begin at 10:00 sharp Wednesday morning. A contact list
will be posted on the door with cell numbers, etc if you require assistance
at any other time. A list of contacts is also posted on this website. Feel
free to use it if you have any questions prior to or during the rodeo.
Be sure to check out the Virden
Tourism page where you
will find maps highlighting such spots in the area such as gas stations,
restaurants, grocery stores and hotels. Check this page and also the
packages you will get when you registered for other points of interest in
the area.
Good luck
to everyone with their spring rodeos and we’ll see you in Virden August 2,
3 and 4th.
Safe Driving!!
